Shanae led the pack of weary teens into the jungle and found a cave. She went in and found it to be rather short, no bears. Big enough to fit all of them, though.
She dropped her stuff on the floor, glad to be out of the rain.

Trisha couldn't believe how long she had walked. Her legs were aching horribly and felt like they were going to crumble on top of the fact that they felt like jello from being on water for days. She fell to the ground and her eyes started to water in fear.

Shanae yawned, noticing that everyone, exhausted, had collapsed.
"Okay guys. We should all try and sleep so we have our energy for tomorrow...so we can decide what to do." She told the crowd. She then pulled out her blanket, dry, from her luggage and wrapped herself up in it, falling into a dreamless sleep.

How could she stay so calm? Trisha wondered. She grabbed into her bag and pulled out her teddy bear, and curled up in a blanket. She was starving and weak, but went right into sleep.

((the next day))
Shanae awoke to sunshine. She saw the other six huddled, scared and cold, asleep.
She stretched and grabbed a pair of shorts and a tank top from her bag. Hoping everyone was asleep, she stripped out of her gross clothes and pulled on the clean ones. She pulled a brush through her hair and tied it up off of her neck
She began organizing everything, food, medical supplies, and luggage, all in different piles.

Trisha awoke to some clanging of supplies. She looked over to see Shanae organizing stuff. Her head hurt fiercely. Trisha shifted around some and crawled over to help.

"Hey Trisha." Shanae smiled brightly, already awake. She pulled out some milk (packed in a cooler and still cold, thanks to Kate) and a few cans of beans.
She started a fire (thank god her mom forced her to pack matches) and waited for it to heat up so she could cook breakfast.

"Hi" Trisha watched Shanae fix everything up. She wished she could help, but would probably screw everything up. "Wow, you really know how to get ready and organize, don't you?"

"My mom's a control freak. It kind of rubbed off on me." She replied. The beans were almost done, and kids were starting to awake to the smell.
"Could you pour milk into 7 cups, please?" Shanae asked, stirring the beans.

"Sure" Trisha grabbed some cups and carefully poured some milk. She noticed her hands were real beat up. She didn't want to look at them, so she put them back under the blanket. "What will we do out here?" Trisha asked, looking around.

Kate walked into the cave and sighed,she was still soaking wet from the storm the pervious night.She never made it to shelter becuse she was seperated from the rest of the students."That was the worst night ever."she muttered as she plopped down onto the ground.

"Kate!" Shanae gasped. She hadn't noticed in all of the chaos that she hadn't been there with them. "Here." She handed her a towel and dry clothes from Kate's luggage, which one of the guys must have brought out. "Change into this, dry off."

"Thanks."Kate muttered,she walked in the far back of the cave to where they couldnt see her.She changed into the jeans and an orange tank top.She slipped one a browish fish net tank over the orange one.They looked good together,she slipped on some dry&clean socks then slipped on some dry tennis shoes.She walked out to where everyone was and sat down with them.

"Good idea, I'll change too." Trisha said, grabbing some clothes to put on. She ducked behind the cave and made sure that noone could see her. She changed into brown capris and a blue cami. She slipped on some sneakers, and pulled up her hair, and then rejoined the group.

"So what do we do know?"Kate asked,she glanced around examining the surrondinings.She hoped there were others on the island but with the luck of everyone here together she assumed that the island was going to be abaonded.She stared out a the millions of trees and ighed,she leaned her head against the wall.
