Shanae twirled her blonde hair around her pointer finger nervously and stared at the massive boat before her. Her father was busy loading her luggage onto the ship, and her mother was crying and holding onto one of her many teacup chihuauas.
Shanae sighed. Her parents were relunctant to let her leave before school. Shanae was a pretty and popular cheerleader, and was never without one of her friends. But on this trip, none of her friends had come (they had opted to go to Florida instead). So Shanae was all alone. And she was majorly excited to meet her new shipmates.

Kate sighed stepping onto the boat with her very few bags.She coundlt belive that none of her friends wanted to come with her.She sat her stuff in her cabin and came back up to the top.She looked over the edge into the awsome blue water.Wishing someone,anyone would talk to her,she needed some friends.

Shanae finally got out of her mother's grasp and stood on the massive boat, watching their Benz leave the parking lot. She fingered the threads hanging from her pre-ripped jean skirt. She tried to dress casual, but still felt a bit overdone compared to everyone who had arrived so far. Her brown sweater fell casually off of her shoulder, revealing her pink tank top underneath, and she had spent hours curling her hair just right. Sighing, she leaned against a bench and watching the water slap against the side of the boat.

Kate looked around and sighed,"Hey,whats wrong?"Kate asked the one girl who looked like she was a cheerleader.Kate could easily spot people out and figure out what they were.

Shanae jumped, startled by the voice. She looked up at a pretty girl with dark hair. She gave the girl her dazzling smile, which she was told was absolutly perfect.
"Just...nervous, I guess. I'm Shanae." She held out her hand, the french-manicure gleaming in the sun.

Shanae nodded.
"Yeah. I've never been away from home without someone. It's strange." Shanae squinted into the sun, wishing she had her sunglasses with her, but they were in the cabin.

bic: Shanae ruffled her blonde corkscrews and looked around at the others that had piled onto the boat.

bic: "No way! That's awesome! Did you register for a dorm, or are you going to live off campus?" Shanae asked. She had wanted to live off campus, but her parents wouldn't allow it. At Mercy Academy, it was situated like a college. There were also Sororities, and Shanae was a part of Omege Gama Pi.
