Trisha was off in her own dreamland, when the wail of the wind and a loud bang woke her up. She jerked up and fell right out of bed.

Trisha was startled by the sudden shoutings. It was freezing cold and rain started to pour. She scrambled up and saw mountains in the distance. They had crashed into an island. Oh god. She saw that Kate was throwing over her bags, and hoped that that was the right thing to do. She followed the lead of her, and tried to help wake more people.

Shanae ran down and grabbed her bags, throwing them out onto the island and into the rain, the designer leather becoming permanently ruined. She ran below deck and helped grab any perishable food she could find. She noticed the few kids that had gone there, but no adults. Where did they go?
Suddenly, she remembered the lifeboats she had seen earlier. She ran to the side to search for them. This could save them!
But they weren't there. She stood in confusion for a few seconds until the answer dawned on her. The adults were missing, and so were the lifeboats.
They left us. They left us to die.

Trisha ran through the boat, trying to gather safety supplies. She tried to stay calm, when others wouldn't. She saw people sitting in corners, not even trying to help others or themselves. There was a sudden gust of wind that almost knocked Trisha off the ship. She ran onto the infirmery and grabbed medical supplies, hoping that they wouldn't get too damaged in the rain.

Shanae stood still for a few moments before gathering herself. She remembered that there had only been 7 kids on the boat in the first place. She started going into everything, throwing it all overboard onto the beach.
When she figured she had it all, she started helping everyone off the boat. When they had all gotten off, she turned to face them.
"Okay, here's the deal!" She shouted over the rain. "We're stuck here alone. Now is not the time to panic! If you want to live, grab as many bags as you can and follow us into the forest!" With that, she grabbed all of her drenched bags and some food and began hurrying to shelter, not even aware of the back-breaking weight.

Trisha didn't take a minute to do anything, she just did what Shanae said. Hurrying into the forest, getting scraped by branches, she just kept on moving.
